2.  In THE ONE TRIUNE GOD: (Deut. 6:4 with II Cor. 13:14; John 14:26; I Peter 1:2) who is personal (Ex. 20:2-3), spirit (John 4:23-24), sovereign (I Chron. 29:11), perfect (Matt. 5:48 ), infinite (Isa. 57:15), and eternal (Deut. 33:27) in His being, holiness (Ex. 15:11; Isa. 6:3) and love (I John 4:16), wisdom (Rom. 11:33) and power (Psa. 62:11; Rom. 13:1), absolutely separate and above the world as its Creator (Neh. 9:6; John 1:3; Eph. 3:9), yet everywhere present in the world (Psa. 139:7-13) as the upholder of all things (Heb. 1:3), self-existent (Gen. 1:1; John 1:1-2) and self-revealing in three distinct persons (II Cor. 13:14; I Peter 1:2), the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal, each having a distinct ministry (II Cor. 13:14; I Peter 1:2) in God's relation to His creation and people (Eph. 2:18 and 3:9, Col. 1:17).
  1. In GOD THE FATHER: As a member of the Triune God-head, who is the Father of all in the sense of creation (Gen. 1:27; Mal. 2:10; Acts 17:29), Father in particular of the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:3; John 17:5 & 24, 20:17) and Father of all those who are related to Him by virtue of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior (Rom. 8:14-17; I Cor. 8:6; Gal. 4:6; Eph. 4:6; Col. 1:2).
  2. In THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: as a member of the Triune Godhead (Matt. 28:18), the eternal Word (John 1:1-2) and Only Begotten Son (John 3:16); that without any change in His divine Person (John 10:30, 14:9, 15:24, 17:21-22), He became man by the miracle of the Virgin Birth (Luke 1:31-35; Matt. 1:20), thus to continue forever as both true God and true man, one Person in two forms (Phil. 2:5-11); that as man, He was tempted in all points like as we are (Heb. 4:15), yet without sin; that as the perfect Lamb of God (John 1:29; Heb. 5:9), He gave himself in death upon the Cross (I Peter 2:24), taking upon Himself there the sins of the world and suffering its full penalty of divine wrath in our stead (II Cor. 5:21; I John 2:2 and 4:10); that He arose bodily from the grave (Matt. 16:21; Acts 2:23-24; I Cor. 15:4) and was glorified (Eph. 1:19-21; Phil. 2:9-11; Heb. 1:3, 8:1-2, 10:11-14); that as our great High Priest, He ascended into Heaven (Heb. 2:17, 3:1, 4:14), there to appear before the face of God as our Mediator (I Tim. 2:5), Advocate (I John 2:1-2) and Intercessor (Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25).
  3. In THE HOLY SPIRIT: as a member of the Triune Godhead (Matt. 28:19; Eph. 2:18), and the divine Agent in nature (Gen. 1:1-2), inspiration (II Peter 1:21) and regeneration (Titus 3:5); that He convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:7-11); that He regenerates (Titus 3:5), indwells (Rom. 8:9; I Cor. 2:12, 3:16, 6:19-20), baptizes (I Cor. 12:13) and seals (Eph. 1:13-14) all who become children of God through Jesus Christ that He further empowers (Rom. 15:13; Eph. 3:16, 4:11),leads (Rom. 8:14; Gal 5:18) teaches (I Cor. 2:9-13), sanctifies(Rom. 15:16; I Cor. 6:11; II Thess. 2:13) and fills (Eph. 5:18) believers who are surrendered to Him (Rom. 8:1, 2, 5); that I His chief end in the life of the believer is to conform him or her to the image of Christ (Rom. 6:1-23, 8:29).

3. In THE EXISTENCE OF SATAN: who originally was created a holy and blameless being (Isa. 14:12; Ezek. 28:12-15), but through pride and wicked ambition rebelled against God (Isa. 14:13-15; Ezek. 28:17), thus becoming utterly depraved in character, the great adversary of God and His people (Job 1:10-12; I Peter 5:8; Rev. 12:9-10), leader of all the fallen angels and spirits (Eph. 2:2; Rev. 13:4-8), the deceiver and god of this present world (John 14:30, 16:11; II Cor. 4:4; Rev. 12:9); that he is the prince of the power of the air; (Eph. 2:2); that his powers are vast, but strictly limited by the permissive will of God (Job 1:10-12; II Thess. 2:3-10) who overrules all his wicked devices for ultimate good (Gen. 50:20; Psa. 76:10; Rom. 8:28); that he was defeated and judged at the Cross (Col. 2:14-15; Heb. 2:14-15; I John 3:8) and therefore his final doom is certain (Rev. 20:10); that we are able to resist and overcome him only by virtue of our identification with the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross (Rom. 6:5-13, Col. 2:14-17), through the power of the Holy Spirit and by putting on the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:11-18); That he has his own false apostles and ministers who pose as apostles of Christ and ministers of righteousness and that he himself is transformed into an angel of light. (II Cor. 11:13-14).

4. That ALL MEN ARE BY NATURE AND CHOICE SINFUL AND LOST: that the first man, Adam, was the direct creation of God, made in His image and likeness (Gen. 1:26-27, 2:7; Matt. 19:4; Mark 10:6); that by his personal disobedience to the revealed will of God (Gen. 2:8-9, 15-17, 3:1-19 and 23-24) Adam became an inherently sinful creature (Psa. 14:1-3; Rom. 3:9-19, 5:12 and 19), the father of a fallen race which is universally sinful in nature, choice and practice (Rom. 3:9-23, Rom. 5:12; Jas. 1:13-15), thus alienated from the life and family of God (Eph. 2:12; Col. 1:21), under the righteous judgment and wrath of God (John 3:18; Rom. 1:18, 2:1-5), and that no member of this fallen race has within himself any possible means of salvation. (Rom. 3:20, 7:18 & 24-25; Gal. 2:16; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).

5. In SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH: In the crucified, buried, risen and ascended Lord Jesus Christ; that salvation is the free gift of God, neither merited nor secured in part or in whole by any virtue or work of man (Rom. 3:20, 4:5, 7:18; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5), but it is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 3:25-26, 10:9-10 in whom all true believers have as a present possession, the gift of eternal life (Rom. 5:20-21, 6:23; Titus 3:5-7), a perfect righteousness (I Cor. 1:30; II Cor. 5:21), sonship in the family of God (Rom. 8:14-17; Gal. 4:5-7). deliverance and security from all condemnation (Rom. 8:1), every spiritual resource needed for life and godliness (Eph. 5:30; Col. 2:9-10 and the divine guarantee that they shall never perish (Rom. 8:38-39; I Cor. 15:20-23; Eph. 4:30; Phil. 1:6); that this salvation effects the whole man (I Thess. 5:23); that apart from Christ there is no possible salvation (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; I Cor. 3:11; I Tim. 2:5).
