and people (Eph. 2:18 and 3:9, Col. 1:17).Please report clerical errors to the Webmaster.

- In GOD THE FATHER: As a member of the Triune God-head, who is the Father of all in the sense of creation (Gen. 1:27; Mal. 2:10; Acts 17:29), Father in particular of the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:3; John 17:5 & 24, 20:17) and Father of all those who are related to Him by virtue of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior (Rom. 8:14-17; I Cor. 8:6; Gal. 4:6; Eph. 4:6; Col. 1:2).
- In THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: as a member of the Triune Godhead (Matt. 28:18), the eternal Word (John 1:1-2) and Only Begotten Son (John 3:16); that without any change in His divine Person (John 10:30, 14:9, 15:24, 17:21-22), He became man by the miracle of the Virgin Birth (Luke 1:31-35; Matt. 1:20), thus to continue forever as both true God and true man, one Person in two forms (Phil. 2:5-11); that as man, He was tempted in all points like as we are (Heb. 4:15), yet without sin; that as the perfect Lamb of God (John 1:29; Heb. 5:9), He gave himself in death upon the Cross (I Peter 2:24), taking upon Himself there the sins of the world and suffering its full penalty of divine wrath in our stead (II Cor. 5:21; I John 2:2 and 4:10); that He arose bodily from the grave (Matt. 16:21; Acts 2:23-24; I Cor. 15:4) and was glorified (Eph. 1:19-21; Phil. 2:9-11; Heb. 1:3, 8:1-2, 10:11-14); that as our great High Priest, He ascended into Heaven (Heb. 2:17, 3:1, 4:14), there to appear before the face of God as our Mediator (I Tim. 2:5), Advocate (I John 2:1-2) and Intercessor (Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25).
- In THE HOLY SPIRIT: as a member of the Triune Godhead (Matt. 28:19; Eph. 2:18), and the divine Agent in nature (Gen. 1:1-2), inspiration (II Peter 1:21) and regeneration (Titus 3:5); that He convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:7-11); that He regenerates (Titus 3:5), indwells (Rom. 8:9; I Cor. 2:12, 3:16, 6:19-20), baptizes (I Cor. 12:13) and seals (Eph. 1:13-14) all who become children of God through Jesus Christ that He further empowers (Rom. 15:13; Eph. 3:16, 4:11),leads (Rom. 8:14; Gal 5:18) teaches (I Cor. 2:9-13), sanctifies(Rom. 15:16; I Cor. 6:11; II Thess. 2:13) and fills (Eph. 5:18) believers who are surrendered to Him (Rom. 8:1, 2, 5); that I His chief end in the life of the believer is to conform him or her to the image of Christ (Rom. 6:1-23, 8:29).

4. That ALL MEN ARE BY NATURE AND CHOICE SINFUL AND LOST: that the first man, Adam, was the direct creation of God, made in His image and likeness (Gen. 1:26-27, 2:7; Matt. 19:4; Mark 10:6); that by his personal disobedience to the revealed will of God (Gen. 2:8-9, 15-17, 3:1-19 and 23-24) Adam became an inherently sinful creature (Psa. 14:1-3; Rom. 3:9-19, 5:12 and 19), the father of a fallen race which is universally sinful in nature, choice and practice (Rom. 3:9-23, Rom. 5:12; Jas. 1:13-15), thus alienated from the life and family of God (Eph. 2:12; Col. 1:21), under the righteous judgment and wrath of God (John 3:18; Rom. 1:18, 2:1-5), and that no member of this fallen race has within himself any possible means of salvation. (Rom. 3:20, 7:18 & 24-25; Gal. 2:16; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).

5. In SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH: In the crucified, buried, risen and ascended Lord Jesus Christ; that salvation is the free gift of God, neither merited nor secured in part or in whole by any virtue or work of man (Rom. 3:20, 4:5, 7:18; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5), but it is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 3:25-26, 10:9-10 in whom all true believers have as a present possession, the gift of eternal life (Rom. 5:20-21, 6:23; Titus 3:5-7), a perfect righteousness (I Cor. 1:30; II Cor. 5:21), sonship in the family of God (Rom. 8:14-17; Gal. 4:5-7). deliverance and security from all condemnation (Rom. 8:1), every spiritual resource needed for life and godliness (Eph. 5:30; Col. 2:9-10 and the divine guarantee that they shall never perish (Rom. 8:38-39; I Cor. 15:20-23; Eph. 4:30; Phil. 1:6); that this salvation effects the whole man (I Thess. 5:23); that apart from Christ there is no possible salvation (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; I Cor. 3:11; I Tim. 2:5).
